About Us
The Baylor Triathlon Club was founded in August of 2008. The purpose of our club is to spread the joy of triathlon to others in order to promote a healthier lifestyle and friendship. Our primary goals are: to organize a competitive triathlon team for the purpose of competing regionally and nationally; to organize workouts and clinics for the purpose of bringing together athletes from around the university; to educate athletes on how to better prepare themselves for intense physical activity through proper nutrition and training; and to give back to the triathlon community by volunteering at local races.
We make it a goal to compete in at least one race per month as a team during the fall and spring semesters and also race at the USAT Collegiate National Championships every year.
The Baylor Triathlon Club usually meets every other Monday night at 8:00PM in Room 308 of the McLane Student Life Center on Baylor's campus. Meetings are variable, so please give us a heads through the "Contact Us" tab before coming!
